About Universal Studios Florida

Universal Studios Florida is one of the two classic parks at Universal Orlando Resort, themed around film and television from the studio's perspective: its areas recreate backlots and streets of New York, Hollywood and San Francisco. Its main draw is Diagon Alley, the London half of the Wizarding World, connected by the Hogwarts Express to the neighbouring park, Islands of Adventure.

Which rides get the longest queues

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, in Diagon Alley, has the longest queue in the park. Revenge of the Mummy and TRANSFORMERS The Ride-3D build long waits through the day. Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack round out the busiest rides. The Hogwarts Express has its own queue at King's Cross Station and is worth counting separately, since the full journey requires admission to both parks.

How long are the waits at Universal Studios Florida?

Escape from Gringotts frequently exceeds 60 minutes in peak season. Most other headline rides sit between 30 and 60. The live waits on this page show the real figure.

How is it different from Islands of Adventure?

They are two separate parks at the same resort, with separate or combined tickets. Universal Studios Florida has Diagon Alley; Islands of Adventure has Hogsmeade, Jurassic World VelociCoaster and Hagrid's. The Hogwarts Express connects them.

Do you need tickets to both parks?

For the Hogwarts Express, yes: it runs from one park to the other and requires Park-to-Park admission. Otherwise each park works on its own.

When is it least busy?

Late January to early February and parts of September are the quietest. Summer, Christmas and Easter are the busiest.
