About WaitDrop

WaitDrop was born from a frustration anyone who has been to a theme park knows: spending more time in the queue than on the rides.

What WaitDrop is

WaitDrop is a free web and Android app that shows the live wait times of more than 140 theme parks around the world. On a single screen you see how long the queue is right now for each ride, how busy the park is expected to be over the coming days and which dates of the month are the quietest to visit.

The idea is simple: decide with data, not luck. If you know your favourite ride has a 15-minute queue instead of 60, you make far better use of your day.

Why we built it

There are sites with wait times, but most stop at the current figure. We wanted to answer the questions that really matter when planning a visit: which day to go, at what time and what to ride first. That is why WaitDrop combines live waits with a crowd forecast and personalised alerts.

How it works

• Live wait times: each ride's queue is updated continuously throughout the day.
• Crowd forecast: we estimate how busy the park will be over the coming days so you can pick the best date.
• Alerts: we let you know when the queue for the ride you care about drops below the threshold you set.
• No sign-up to browse: you can check wait times without an account; you only need one to save favourites and alerts.

Who is behind it

WaitDrop is developed by GitThreeLab, a small software development team. We are an independent project: we are not affiliated with any park or its owners. Our goal is for the tool to be useful, honest and pleasant to use.
