About Parque Warner Madrid
Parque Warner Madrid is in San Martín de la Vega, about 25 km south of Madrid, laid out in five areas based on the Warner Bros. universe: Hollywood, Movie World Studios, Cartoon Village, DC Super Heroes World and Old West Territory. It is the largest theme park in the Madrid region and pairs genuinely intense coasters with a large children's area themed to the Looney Tunes.
Which rides get the longest queues
Batman Gotham City Escape, the inverted coaster in the DC area, draws the biggest crowds. Superman: La Atracción de Acero, with its inversions and long layout, and Stunt Fall, one of the tallest coasters in Spain, queue heavily all day. Coaster Express, the wooden coaster in Old West Territory, and La Venganza del Enigma, the drop tower, round out the busiest rides. In Cartoon Village, Correcaminos Bip Bip and the Baby Looney Tunes pilot academy fill up in the morning with families.
How to avoid the queues
- Start in DC Super Heroes World: it has the most in-demand coasters and fills up fastest.
- Madrid heat is a real factor in summer: use the early and late hours, and save midday for shows and indoor rides.
- Queues drop while the shows are on — check the timings when you arrive.
- Cartoon Village empties late in the day as families with small children head home.
- Check live waits before walking from one area to another.
Frequently asked questions
How long are the waits at Parque Warner?
On summer weekends the main coasters can exceed an hour. Midweek outside Spanish school holidays waits drop a lot, often below 30 minutes. Check the live waits on this page for the real figure.
Is one day enough for Parque Warner?
Yes. With a sensible plan there is time for the main rides and a show. On very busy days it pays to prioritise: the DC area first, everything else after.
Are Parque Warner and Warner Beach the same thing?
Warner Beach is the water park section of the complex and only opens in the summer season. Depending on your ticket it may or may not be included, so it is worth checking when you buy.
How do you get to Parque Warner from Madrid?
It is in San Martín de la Vega, about 25 km from the city centre. There is a bus service and a commuter rail connection, plus car access with its own parking.
