About Ferrari Land

Ferrari Land is the theme park dedicated to the Italian marque, opened in 2017 next to PortAventura Park in Salou. It is compact — considerably smaller than its neighbour — and built around Red Force, the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe. It has its own ticket, though most visitors combine it with PortAventura on the same trip.

Which rides get the longest queues

Red Force takes essentially all the queueing: it accelerates from 0 to 180 km/h in about five seconds and climbs to 112 metres, and it is why most people come. Thrill Towers, the pair of drop towers, and Flying Dreams, the flying theatre, are next in demand. Maranello Grand Race and Champions Race, the racing simulators, have limited capacity and queue steadily. Junior Red Force and Junior Championship are the children's versions and fill up mainly in the morning.

Frequently asked questions

How long do you need for Ferrari Land?

It is a compact park: half a day covers the main rides without rushing. That is why it is usually combined with PortAventura Park on the same visit.

Does a PortAventura ticket include Ferrari Land?

No. They are separate parks with separate tickets, although combined tickets covering both do exist. Worth checking when you buy.

What is Red Force?

It is the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe: 112 metres tall with a launch from 0 to 180 km/h in around five seconds. It is the park's headline attraction.

Is Ferrari Land suitable for children?

Yes — there is a children's area with Junior Red Force, Junior Championship and Kid's Tower, though the line-up is smaller than at a full-size park. Red Force and Thrill Towers have height restrictions.
