About Disneyland Park Paris
Disneyland Park is the original park at the Disneyland Paris resort in Marne-la-Vallée, about 32 km east of Paris. It is arranged in five lands around Sleeping Beauty Castle: Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland. It is comfortably the most visited theme park in Europe and shares the resort with Disney Adventure World, sold as a separate or combined ticket.
Which rides get the longest queues
Big Thunder Mountain, the mine-train coaster set on an island in the middle of Frontierland's lake, draws crowds all day. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, with its full inversion, and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, which pulls heavy family demand, also build long waits. In Fantasyland, Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains and Le Carrousel de Lancelot fill up mid-morning with families. Peter Pan's Flight is a long-standing bottleneck: enduring popularity against very low capacity.
How to avoid the queues
- Arrive at opening and head straight for Frontierland or Discoveryland — most visitors stop to take photos on Main Street.
- Use the parade times: queues drop noticeably while the parade is running.
- Eat before 12:00 or after 14:30; the rides thin out slightly during the restaurant peak.
- The last hour before closing is usually the best window of the day for the mountains.

Are Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World the same?
No. They are two separate parks within the same Disneyland Paris resort. Disneyland Park is the one with the castle; Disney Adventure World — formerly Walt Disney Studios Park — is next door with different rides. Tickets are sold for one park or both.
Is Premier Access worth it?
On busy days it can save meaningful queueing on the highest-demand rides, but it is charged per ride and pricing varies by date. In the low season, arriving at opening and planning your route usually makes it unnecessary.
What is the best day to visit Disneyland Paris?
