About Disneyland Park (California)
Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, is the original: the only one Walt Disney saw built, opened in 1955. Its layout of Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and New Orleans Square is the template every later Disney park followed, though it keeps attractions that exist nowhere else.
Which rides get the longest queues
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, in Galaxy's Edge, has the longest queue in the park. Indiana Jones Adventure and Space Mountain build long waits through the day. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Matterhorn Bobsleds round out the busiest rides. Peter Pan's Flight is, as at every Disney park, a long-standing bottleneck: high demand against very low capacity.
How to avoid the queues
- Rise of the Resistance at opening: it is the clear priority of the day.
- Fantasyland saturates from mid-morning; its classic dark rides are better first thing or at the end.
- Queues drop noticeably during the parades and the evening show.
- The park is compact next to Walt Disney World: moving around is cheap and replanning costs little.
- Check live waits before setting your order in Fantasyland, where the spread is wide.

Are Disneyland and Walt Disney World the same?
No. Disneyland is in Anaheim, California, and is the original 1955 park; Walt Disney World is in Florida and is a much larger resort with four parks. Disneyland Resort has two: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
Is one day enough for Disneyland?
