About Disney California Adventure
Disney California Adventure is the second park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, opened in 2001 and themed around Californian culture and landscapes. A major overhaul added Cars Land and Avengers Campus, which turned it into a considerably stronger park than in its early years.
Which rides get the longest queues
Radiator Springs Racers, in Cars Land, has the longest queue in the park and one of the longest in the whole resort. Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, the converted drop tower, and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure in Avengers Campus build long waits. Incredicoaster and Soarin' Over California round out the busiest rides. Grizzly River Run fills up as soon as it gets hot.
How to avoid the queues
- Radiator Springs Racers at opening: the undisputed priority and the worst queue to leave until later.
- The whole of Cars Land fills from mid-morning; to see it calmly, go early or after dark when it lights up.
- Grizzly River Run saturates with the heat: ride it early in summer.
- Single rider lines work well on Radiator Springs Racers and Incredicoaster.
- It is directly opposite Disneyland Park: check live waits for both if you have a Park Hopper ticket.

It is the area themed to the Cars films, with a full-scale recreation of Radiator Springs. Radiator Springs Racers is its headline ride and the most in-demand in the park.
